Beautiful Fall Family Photography Session | Canton NY Family Photographer
Part one of this beautiful fall family session began on a cold and windy October afternoon at a beautiful tree lined location. We started with some family pictures and then as soon as Gannon's feet hit the ground he was off and running (just as his mother had predicted LOL). We soon realized that little McKinley’s nose was bright red and that we really needed to quit for the day and try again later in the week when it was supposed to warm up. The temperature ended up swinging 30 points higher when we got together again the following Wednesday - so instead of the cold we were sweating!! The warm weather made it so much easier to get some precious pictures of little sissy by herself and with Mom and Dad. The leaves were so colorful and the golden light made for the perfect fall background to finish up the session for this beautiful young family. So thankful that Mom's friend Jen was there to watch the kids so I could capture some loving pictures of Mom and Dad. Here's a few of my favorites from this session.

Mommy and Me Wildflower Garden Photography Session | Potsdam NY Child Photographer
This beautiful Mommy and Me session was such a great way to end my wildflower garden sessions for the season. My flowers were still in full bloom and the leaves had started to change – such a beautiful mix of colors! This little one was so happy from the moment I met her until it was time to leave. I love these type of sessions because they are so easy and full of love– I just asked Mom and her little one to snuggle, laugh and have fun with each other. I was so amazed that she was already able to stand and walk with assistance at only 8 months old! Here’s a few of my favorites from this session – I just love how they capture the beautiful bond between this mother and daughter - so special!!

2018 Holiday Mini Sessions
It’s very festive in my photography studio in preparation for Holiday Mini Sessions!! If you’re thinking about wanting some special holiday pictures of your little ones (or family) – now is the time to book a mini session so you’ll have pictures for holiday cards and to give as beautiful gifts to those you love!! You’ll have the choice of the white brick and fireplace setup, snowy evergreen backdrop (for little ones only) or a cozy white bed that’s great for pajama pictures.
Sessions will last 20 minutes for up to 3 children – 5 digital images with print release for $75. I'm also offering 30 minute Family Holiday mini sessions for up to 5 people with 8 digital images for $125.
To book a session email me at [email protected] with “Holiday Mini” or "Family Holiday Mini" in the subject line and indicate the day and time you prefer. Once we’ve settled on a time I’ll send you a Paypal invoice for the $25 nonrefundable deposit to lock in your session date and time. Sessions are limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis so book your session for your preferred date and time today!! All images will be available via digital download within 48 hours of your session so you’ll have plenty of time to order prints and send your Christmas cards out on time!

Newborn Family Studio Photography Session | Potsdam NY Child and Family Photographer
Newborn babies melt my heart and newborn babies in the loving arms of new parents melt it even more! This precious little man arrived a few days later than expected and was the star of the show in my studio a couple of weeks ago. The sole goal of my newborn/family sessions is to capture the overwhelming love that new Mom's and Dad's have for their precious new baby and freeze those genuine, emotional feelings in pictures to treasure always! We started the session with Mom and baby and I must say there's nothing more beautiful than photographing a mother and her newborn - the life changing love so evident and palpable that it gets me every time! I then had Dad join his wife and son and told them to love on their baby, cuddle close and feel the moment - they did this to perfection! Father and son pictures of this handsome Dad and his little mini me were next and then grandma joined her daughter and first grandchild for some special three generation portraits. This little guy didn't want to miss anything so I was able to take some wide eyed wrapped shots and when he finally fell asleep toward the end of the session I was able to capture some precious sleepy shots as well. I thank the Rinker's for choosing me to photograph this special time in their lives and feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to capture such beautiful pictures for such a loving couple.
Senior Girl in Wildflower Garden | Malone NY Child and Family Photographer
I had so much fun photographing Hailey's beautiful senior session last week and am so excited to share some of my favorites from her session. The outfits she chose contrasted perfectly with my wildflowers and made her pop while surrounded by the goldenrod in our field. I just love working with seniors - they make my job so easy! Hailey's makeup was striking, as was her beautiful smile. I love the variety of looks she gave me with the more serious ones converting so beautifully to black and white! I want to thank her for being such a willing and patient young woman to work with - I'm so happy she chose me to be her senior photographer! Have a great senior year Hailey - enjoy every last minute of it!!
