Senior Girl Wildflower Session | Malone NY Child and Family Photographer
I couldn’t have asked for a more georgous September evening to photograph beautiful Alexis. She arrived right after soccer practice and looked so beautiful in a cute white dress with braids in her hair. We started her session in my wildflower garden - her white dress such a beautiful contrast to the pops of vibrant colors of the flowers.
After she changed into jeans we took some more relaxed portraits in the field among the tall grasses - I just love the range of expressions from this set (some brought tears to her Mom’s eyes). Took some walking shots and was so glad her Mom reminded me to take a few on the swing before we finished up!
There's something so special about documenting seniors at this time in their lives when they’re whole future is ahead of them - when they’re on the cusp of entering a new chapter in their lives. Freezing these moments in a special collection of portraits to be treasured always - is something I love providing for my seniors and their families.
We plan to finish this session once the leaves start to change to add even more variety to this beautiful gallery.
I wish Alexis all the best as she pursues her goal of becoming a Nurse Practioner and hope she has a great Senior year - enjoy every minute!! Here's a few of my favorites from this beautiful session.
Wildflower Garden Portrait Sessions | Potsdam NY Child and Family Photographer
Kids are back in school, the weather is cooler, days are getting shorter and I'm finally getting a chance share some pictures from my wildflower garden sessions. When we left for Alaska in June I was so afraid that the wildflower seeds I planted would die from lack of water and that I wouldn't be able to offer wildflower sessions this summer. Boy was I wrong!! I think my garden this year was the most colorful yet. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every wildflower session and feel blessed that so many clients came to my little slice of heaven and left with some beautiful portraits of their children and family to treasure forever!!
The flowers should be beautiful until our first hard frost (most likely toward the end of September) so there's still a little time to book a session within the next few weeks on limited dates!! If you would like to book a session on the evening of September 20, 21st or 22nd contact me as soon as possible to grab one of these dates!
1st Birthday Cake Smash Session | Potsdam NY Child Photographer
My youngest Grandson Ryker just turned 1 last month - I can't believe how fast this past year has flown! This sweet little man has brought us all so much joy this past year and it's been such a blessing to be able to watch his big sister love him so dearly right from the first moment she saw him. He's our sweet "Bubby" (the nickname big sister gave him before he was born) and I couldn't wait to do his First Birthday/Cake Smash session before we headed on our trip to Alaska. He started the session wearing his adorable "Mr. ONEderful" t-shirt - I just love his big toothy smile. He's currently obsessed with balls so when it came time for his cake smash we distracted him as we put the balloons behind him because we guessed he wouldn't pay any attention to them once he saw the cake - we were right!! As soon as he saw the cake he was in heaven - he dove right in and thoroughly enjoyed it until Mom had to take it away for his own good LOL!!. Happy 1st Birthday sweet boy - we love you to pieces!!

These only happen once a year at my colorful, beautiful wildflower garden location!! Sessions are limited so book your session today on one of the evenings listed below.

Sessions will last 15 minutes for up to 3 children – 5 digital images with print release for $75. I'm also offering 30 minute Family Mini Sessions for up to 5 people with 8 digital images for $125 with print release. A $25 deposit is required for all Mini Sessions to lock in your session date and get you on my calendar.
For those wanting a full session with more images- please check out my Wildflower Garden Portrait Special which includes all edited images from the session (20 minimum - usually many more) and a complimentary print package (valued at $75) if booked by July 30th (for sessions in late July, August or September).
