2020 Picture a Day Project | May | Dickinson Center NY Family Photographer

Spring has sprung and another month has come and gone....  Snow in the early part of the month gave way to everything greening up.  I love the beauty that this time of year brings as the leaves begin to pop and the flowers begin to bloom.  Just love my Mother's Day gift from Amanda - 2 jars filled with "I love you because...." notes - reading one each morning is the best way to start my day!!  Took Myla's 5th birthday portraits and had my first 2 client sessions since closing for Covid - so glad to be doing what I love again!  I decided to transition my wildflower garden from annuals to perennials and planted/transplanted over 120 plants with the helpful planning and guidance from my sister's friend Sue.  Planted my sunflower field (2000 seeds) and look forward to it becoming a beautiful spot for pictures by the end of August (keeping my fingers crossed).
