2021 Christmas Mini Sessions
Based on the results of my recent client Christmas Mini session survey - I'll be offering limited Christmas Mini sessions both in my studio and outside "In the Pines" this year - a little something for everyone. If you’re thinking about wanting some special holiday pictures of your little ones (or family) – now is the time to book a mini session so you’ll have pictures for holiday cards and to give as beautiful gifts to those you love!!
Child only sessions - 20 minutes (up to 3 children*) - $100 - 5 images
Family sessions - 30 minutes (up to 5 people*) $150 - 8 images
*($10 for each additional person)
My beautiful studio background options this year are the "Rustic Merry" room and the "Cozy Window" bed option (great for pajama pictures). You can choose one background or a combination of both. See Covid precautions below*.
Outdoor sessions will be held "In the Pines" just down the road from my house - all outdoor sessions will be around 3:00 p.m. (a little earlier on overcast afternoons). For outdoor sessions where I end up with more than the stated 5 or 8 images - I will notify clients of the option to purchase 5 additional images for $50.
To book a session email me at [email protected] with “Child Mini” or "Family Mini" in the subject line and indicate the day and time you prefer. Once we’ve settled on a date and time I’ll send you a Paypal invoice for the $50 nonrefundable deposit to lock in your session and get you on my calendar. All images will be available via digital download within 48 hours of your session so you’ll have plenty of time to order prints and send your Christmas cards out on time!
Sessions are limited and normally sell out fast so book your session on your preferred date and time today!!

*Studio Covid Precautions:
1. I will wear a clear face shield at all times and require that everybody age 3 and over wear a mask when not being photographed. Hand sanitizer will be available before and after your session.
2. I decided to only schedule 1 studio session per day. This allows at least 24 hours between sessions and gives me plenty of time to sanitize high touch surface areas (door knobs, hard surface props, stair rail, etc.)

The following statement will be added to the Model Release signature form to be signed at the session:
COVID-19: I understand the COVID-19 virus has a long incubation period during which carriers of the virus may not show signs or symptoms and still be highly contagious. I understand that Kathleen Chapman Photography will take precautions currently suggested for Covid-19 prevention (mask wearing, social distancing, disinfecting of surfaces between sessions, etc.) I release Kathleen Chapman Photography from any and all liability associated with receiving a COVID-19 positive diagnosis following our session. I confirm that I (and all parties in our group) are not presenting with any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 and will notify to reschedule should any of us present with any of the following symptoms prior to our session: fever, shortness of breath, dry cough, runny nose or soar throat.
There has to be zero tolerance for illness. If ANYONE is sick (for studio or outdoor sessions), you will need to reschedule.

Announcing 2021 Country Garden Mini Sessions!!
So happy to announce the dates for my 2021 Country Garden Mini Sessions! Sessions are limited so book your session today on one of the evenings listed below. Summer is a great time for outdoor portraits and my beautiful Country Garden is the perfect, colorful location for a fun/relaxed session to showcase your family! I can't wait to help you create some beautiful memories to display proudly in your home and treasure always! All sessions will begin about an hour and half before sunset for the most beautiful light.
Sessions will be held on the following evenings:

Child Mini Sessions will last up to 15 minutes for up to 3 children ($10 for each additional child) - 5 digital images with print release for $80.
Family/Couple Mini Sessions will last up to 30 minutes and are for up to 5 people ($10 for each additional person) - 8 digital images with print release for $130.
If we end up with more than the 5 or 8 promised beautiful images - clients will have the option to purchase 5 additional images for $50.
A $30 deposit is required for all Mini Sessions to lock in your session date and get you on my calendar.
There's also always the option to book a Full Session for up to 60 minutes which includes all edited images from the session (15 minimum - usually more like 20-25 or more) with print release for $250. Full sessions can be booked on evenings other than those listed above . A $75 deposit is required for Full Sessions.

Pre-K/Kindergarten Graduation Mini Sessions | Dickinson Center, NY Child Photographer
Pre-K/Kindergarten Graduation Mini Sessions
Sessions are $50 for 3 digital images and will be about 10 minutes long. If you want your child to wear a cap and gown in your school colors you can order them from Amazon. I have both a royal blue and red cap and gown that can be used if you don’t have one. The cap and gown will be sanitized with Lysol spray after each use.

Full payment (via Paypal) of the $50 session fee is required to book your session and get on my calendar.

Getting Mom in the picture and capturing her overwhelming love for her children is my inspiration for these sessions!
$60 | 10-15 minutes | 3 digital images | Mom and up to 3 children ($10 for each additional child)
Galleries will consist of 3-5 digital images - you'll pick your favorite 3 with the option to purchase additional images for $15 each.

Picture a Day Project | December | Dickinson Center NY Child and Family Photographer
Can't believe this is my final grid for 2020 and that I completed my 3rd picture a day project!! I thoroughly enjoyed this project but have decided I won't be starting one for 2021 - planning to focus my attention on other goals this year.
I had so much fun finishing up Christmas Mini's sessions this month and enjoyed decorating and having the tree and Christmas lights to photograph. Missed getting everybody together for Christmas this year and am praying hard that next year will be different. I'm thankful for the what we do have and the celebrations we had even though they were different.
