Announcing 2020 "In the Pines" Outdoor Christmas Mini Sessions
So many things are different this year because of Covid-19 - so are my Christmas Mini Sessions! This year my mini sessions will take place outdoors "In the Pines." I didn't want to take the chance of potentially exposing myself, my family or my clients to any possible risk of catching or spreading Covid-19 so I was thrilled when my neighbor (just down the road) gave me permission to hold my sessions "In the Pines" behind their property!! There's plenty of space for us to social distance and masks must be worn when I'm not taking your picture - I will be wearing a mask as well.
I didn't have any helpers to take sample pictures today so my trusty Christmas garden gnome helped me out - see sample pictures below. Sessions are very limited because I could only schedule them in the afternoons because on a sunny day the light is too harsh earlier in the day for nice pictures. If it ends up being overcast on the date of your session you'll be given the option of starting a little earlier than your scheduled time because the harsh sun won't be an issue.
Sessions will last 20 minutes for up to 3 children – 5 digital images with print release for $80. I also offer 30 minute family mini sessions for up to 5 people with 8 digital images for $130. For sessions where I end up with more than the stated 5 or 8 images I will notify clients of the option to purchase 5 additional images for $50. A $30 non-refundable deposit is required to lock in your session date and time.
To book a session email me at [email protected] with “Christmas Mini” or “Family Christmas Mini” in the subject line, indicate the date and time you prefer and list the names and ages of the children to be photographed. Sessions are limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis so book your session today! All images will be available via digital download within 48 hours of your session so you’ll have plenty of time to order prints and send your Christmas cards out on time!

What a beautiful September we had! We picked about 25 pumpkins - our best crop to date - so fun to have plenty to share with grandkids. We enjoyed a great time camping in Lake George with my forever NJ friends and their husbands. My flowers got hit by the first hard frost while we were gone - always so sad..... The leaves are changing so another type of beauty is emerging.

And just like that August is gone!! Lots of sunflower pics in my grid this month - thoroughly enjoyed photographing them at all stages and we're still amazed at how well they did - so beautiful!! Just love the pics from Ricky and Mandy's family sessions - so special!! Took our Summer swing pic, we celebrated Rick's 60th birthday and he had knee replacement surgery, the chickens began laying eggs and we found out we're going to be grandparents again - precious #8 to arrive in April 2020!!

WOW - did July fly by! I just love my country garden and held my 1st few Country Garden mini sessions this month - so much fun! The flowers are growing beautifully - so much better than I ever anticipated! I ordered some Christmas backgrounds for my studio and had fun with Myla testing them out. The sunflowers in the sunflower field are growing like crazy and the first bloom appeared. So excited anticipating what it will be like when all the sunflowers bloom - I'm guessing they'll be lots of sunflower pictures in my August grid!!

I just love all the flowers I get to photograph during the summer months as things start to bloom. I can see the sunflower rows forming in my sunflower field and look forward to photographing them as they grow and bloom. We celebrated Ryker's 2nd birthday while camping in Lake George and were so glad my sister Becky and her husband Rick could join us from MA. We returned to church for the 1st time since the Covid shutdown with pews taped off for social distancing and everybody wearing masks - so strange - but so good to be back in the Lord's house on Sundays. I continue to have fun making t-shirt creations with my Cricut machine. Amanda and I made Ryker's "I'm Twoodles" t-shirt while he was napping right before his 2 year old photo session (talk about hot off the press LOL). Rick built the new split rail fence behind my perennial flower garden - as soon as it was complete I renamed my wildflower garden by "Country Garden" - I just love it so much!!
