Had so much fun working with my Mommy and Me giveaway winner and her beautiful girls this past weekend!! Here's some of my favorites from our session. Glad I'm not the one trying to pick her 5 free digital images!

My May grid - this month's grid features two of my granddaughters. The youngest in an impromptu shoot and the oldest on her First Holy Communion Day - spring flowers and an apple orchard session with my daughter and her sweet family - another beautiful month!

I’ve been wanting to do a family photography session in an apple orchard and was so grateful when our neighbor's parents gave us permission to shoot at their beautiful orchard in Potsdam, NY. My daughter and her family agreed that an orchard session sounded like fun so we agreed on a date and hoped the weather would cooperate. The wind and rain wreaked havoc on the delicate apple blossoms earlier in the week but everything was beautiful Saturday evening and we had a blast!! We assumed that my two year old granddaughter would love to run and play at the orchard and shouldn't have been surprised when she wasn't overly excited for any pictures that involved sitting on a blanket or crate. It was so fun to capture her exploring the orchard and running her little heart out. Some of my favorite pictures are the couple shots where she was off doing her own thing in the background!! She had great fun playing with Mom and sweet moments with Dad as well. Had so much fun capturing this beautiful little family in such a lovely location!!

I'm part of a group where we share a grid with 9 of our favorite pictures each month. This month my grid features two of my grandsons (one who just turned 12), some spring flowers (finally) and my trip to Virginia to spend Easter with my Mom and two of my sisters - it was a great month!!
Was babysitting our two year old granddaughter when she decided she wanted to put on a dress and dance on my studio floor. She wanted to dance like her older cousin who she adores. I couldn't help but pull out my camera and try to capture this little fast moving target in a quick studio photo shoot. Didn't think I had any keepers but was so happy with these 8 photos that capture her precious little personality.
